It was a great turn out for the poker tournament with 14 participants starting, Gator came later (with the Jaegermeister) and bought in to get the total to 15.  The game wasn’t underway long when Craig l’il Witzee was knocked out first (hey didn’t he do that last year).  His pleas to Papa Witzee for a rebuy fell on death ears.  Christian, the defending champ, was the next one to exit the tables.  Sweat was the next one to go but he bought back in immediately.  Josey then knocked out the smoothie with 4 sevens to Smoothies boat.  Smoothie refused to rebuy – the man gots to know his limitations.  Manweller was knocked out by Clay the kid and bought back in immediately only to be knocked out shortly thereafter.  Donovan was the next to go  and Gator bought in, switched tables a couple of times and was quickly dismissed. Yose knocked Luke and his pocket kings out with an Ace on the river and it was time for the final table.  Witzee was still alive with a small chip stack and Pops was hanging in as well.  Yose and Grappo had a decent chip count as did Josey and Sweat,  But Clay the Kid had a commanding lead as the final table action commenced.  Witzee and his small stack were quickly dismissed and Pops soon followed.  Yose got dropped by the kid and it was down to the 2 howard boys and clay with Clay still holding a huge advantage.  Josey went all in with ace-queen  but the kid picked up a pair of deuces on the flop to take Josey out.  A few hands later, the kid took Sweat out on some non-descript hand and for the second year in a row some young punk took home the trophy  - that just ain’t right.
