Josey and Yose ended up down the basement with the young punks Christian, Craigy, Shane,  Clay and a reluctant Kyle.  Upstairs it was Luke, Donovan,  Sweat, Pops, Witzee, and Ohare at the mature table.  It wasn’t long before  Pops built a huge chip stack and Witzee (ain’t gonna be no rebuy) was the first man out.  Surprisingly enough little Witzee was the 2^nd man out and by 9 PM we were down to 11 players and combined tables downstairs after a quick fireworks show (just 1 mortar).  Downstairs, Christian was playing almost every hand and bullying everyone around with his huge chip stack.  The sweat was also holding a nice stack as the Doll and Luke were sitting like statues.  O'hare was passing out grappa when he wasn't busy dumping it on the pool table.  Shane went all in a few times and survived while Sweat and Christian had several epic showdowns with Christian pulling it out on the river.  Soon it was down to six players and the party moved back upstairs – O’hare, Yose, Shane, Clay, Sweat and Christian.  Sweat and Christian had huge edge in chips over the rest of the players.  The light weights dropped out quickly as the blinds were raised and soon it was down to Sweat, Christian and Yose with Christian the leader and Yose just barely holding on.  Sweat went all in on Christian who called with a crappy hand but ended up pulling trips on the river to knock his uncle out.  Now it was down to Yose and Christian with Christian having a three to one chip advantage.  After some cat and mouse games Yose started to get closer to Christian and when he hit top pair with a queen on the flop he went all in and Christian called with pocket kings and it was all but over.  The turn and the river were no help to Yose and Christian was crowned the Poker Champ of 2007 at about midnight.
